I am happy to announce the possibility to do personal retreats with me here at Bali Sandat in the beautiful and tranquil North side of Bali.
Why Retreat at Bali Sandat?
Bali Sandat is a gorgeous guesthouse set amongst lush tropical gardens and fronting a nearly deserted black sand beach. Founded by Tilli, an adventurous soul from Switzerland, Bali Sandat has recently passed its twentieth anniversary serving as a place of rest and relaxation in this quiet corner of still relatively untouched Bali. There is a lovely family atmosphere here, with five Balinese kids and their parents living on the property.
Each evening you will be serenaded to sleep with the long slow in breath and out breath of the waves, and each morning you will be woken by the merry twittering of birds in the Mango and Papaya trees which are scattered throughout the property.
The rooms here are super beautiful, thanks to Tilli’s European Alps style! Each one has a beautiful bed with crisp attractive linens, a mosquito net (this is the tropics) and a gorgeous bathroom tiled with the volcanic black stones found all around here.
On your balcony there is a hammock – perfect for your after lunch siesta, and a table where you can sit and have an evening coconut or do you journalling. If I were you I would request the left hand room on the top floor of the main house. Waking up there you feel like an exotic princess of the East, surveying her luscious territories from a high place which gives her the perfect view while protecting her privacy….!
Bali sandat has a fabulous chef, Kadek, who will lovingly prepare a range of delicious and delightful Indonesian dishes for you, using the basics of Balinese cooking – coconut, chilli, peanuts, lemongrass, lime, alfalfa sprouts and mung beans, tofu and tempe – combined with some European touches added by Tilli such as home made bread*!
*There are not many guesthouses in Bali where you can eat beautiful Indonesian cuisine for dinner and have have freshly backed bread with butter and homemade papaya jam in the morning!
All kinds of fresh juices are also available throughout the day. Papaya juice with a twist of lime is highly recommended.
Your Retreat Program
Given this is a personal retreat, we can design a program that suits you. You may have a particular question you would like to ask yourself over these three days, or you may just want to practice yoga, and meditate in silence to find what is wanting to emerge next in your life.
I can lead you through the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series if a strong practice is your thing, or we can do a morning Vinyasa or Hatha Flow. In the evening I can guide you through a Yin or Restorative Yoga practice ending with Tibetan bowls and Savasana accompanied by me on guitar.
Each morning I offer silent meditation practice – with guidance, and if you wish to practice meditation throughout the day, we can also design a meditation program for you which I will support you in.
I can also offer you a range of self development workshops taken from my Radical Self Love retreats, including diving into the Work of Byron Katie, learning EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), asking yourself questions using Theta Healing, and creative practices such as drawing your own Self Love Mandala.

I offer a Reiki Session as a part of the Personal Retreat. This is a 1.5 Hour Hands on Healing treatment where I usually receive insights for you from your higher guidance.
If you are feeling like an adventure, we can add in an excursion to a nearby waterfall or a Balinese Temple.
Price for the 3 Day Personal Retreat is AUD $547 which includes accomodation and three daily meals with vegetarian food, and all teaching, including your personal REIKI Healing Session and one excursion to a nearby temple or waterfall or similar (tailored for you).
Optional extras are: Drinks that you can order any time from the kitchen.
